Nasty Gal isn't so nasty anymore, in their clothing repertoire that is. This, believe it or not, romper, (who knew), brings a sort of new, fresh, Celine/ american apperal inspired look to the youth of America today. It looks a bit spandex infused, but, with careful pairing (which must look effortless) one could be able to pull this outfit off rather nicley.

Balenciaga then and now

Balenciaga, French haus inspired look
Founded: 1914
Designers of note: Cristóbal Balenciaga, Hubert de Givenchy, Oscar de la Renta, Andre Courreges, Emanual Ungaro, Nicolas Ghesquiere
Famous for: A continuously challenging and thoroughly modern silhouette, training some of the greatest designers the world will ever see

FNO

Fashion Night Out 2012, Zara, Boston

A great outing on Newbury Street, on September 6th to kick off Fashion Week. Lots of great stores were open and the excitement was buzzing! Unfortunately didn't get to the shopping part, there were just tons of wannabes and innocent passerby's crammed into into the bustle of the small stores, slightly buzzed on the free champagne,  yet it was great to have a look around! I forgot my camera, so i couldn't take pics.
We had our photographs taken at the vip carpet complements of bostonnorth, which was quite exciting. They were sponsoring Kimpton hotels, which was interesting because i have been to Kimpton and I think even Boston can do a better job that...why not the Manderin again? Maybe because it is the only Hotel they sponser for Fw.
I have to say, Marc Jacobs had a great participation with Fno, by offering great deals, a photo booth and a hair braiding bar. Zara also participated by doing a colab with Vogue, taking Polaroid pictures and uploading them on the website.
Also had quite a blast picking out my dream car's, emphasis on the "s"; that lined the three blocks.
I guess this has been the best fno yet, so props to you Boston, 3rd worst dressed city in the whole entire Country.
WIW: Top Shop black peplum top, white Zara pocket studed shorts, golden studded Zara shoes from London.

Kenzo Oxford Pump

These are Uh-Mazing cut out Kenzo oxfords. I absolutely adore these. I think it's a beautiful summer/spring shoe. The color is lovely for this season considering the pops of color. This shoe also comes in a black base with a white upper body. Perfect for work, even lunch on the town.

Color me Kenzo

Found this gorgeous Color me Kenzo backpack in his spring line, can't believe this is a backpack..it wouldn't be able to fit any of my hundreds of books in it but i would definitely wear this as a ready to go bag. They also offer a smaller type purse in blue/green/white and pink/orange/green, my favorite being the pink. This is such a versatile bag, there is even a wallet; the brown pocket that you can see in the front and you can even tuck in the larger white strap and just carry the bag with the small lime green strap. Here is a link to the website where you can check out the other items: http://www.openingceremony.us/entry.asp?pid=5609

Have a great day

Yellow necklaces

Neon Necklaces

An upcoming trend we have been seeing lately is a lot of neon jewelry. Especially gorgeous bright banana yellows and turquoise blue's. Bright pops of color out and about, hear and there; if your not color blocking, (of course these days shades of black and grey are long gone,) add pops of color with your jewelry. Weather it's your earrings, to your bracelets, your rings to your bags, you can never go wrong with a bit of color, take it for example the Cambridge Satchel. It has evolved from the dusty neutral colored messenger bag, to an expensive must have, to tote around. Here are a few different styles necklaces, (some a bit pricy) but styles to love and look forward to!

Zara Margarita Heels

A Margarita With Zesty Heels on the Side

Came across these neon yellow margarita heels from Zara. At an amazing price who wouldn't want these! No wonder their sold out. Can't wait for the sale, please come sooner!

Top Shop Sequin Shorts

Can't Get Enough of Sequins!

A while ago while traveling, we came across lots of different kinds of shorts. Patterned, lace, sequin, bedazzled, studded, dip dyed and frayed; things we had never seen before...not in this decade that is;) But we soon fell  head over heels for distressed and sequin shorts and we couldn't wait to buy a pair. After searching heaps of different stores, we finally came across a pair that wasn't to short! At Topshop, the sizes are incredibly messed up! Usually a 24, I was a 27 here; going any size down looked like i had undies on, and that wasn't the look I was trying to portray. These can be paired with a fun solid cotton top, no pattern on top! This will take away from the shorts and people wont know what to look at when they feast their eyes on the sparkling shorts!
